search engines

On the top of my screen I have about 6 search engines. I don't know how they got there, and even worse I can not get them off the screen. My screen is about half the size and this is pissing me off. Help somebody, c'mon Newbie666, You have an answer for everything.

see if you can click on 'view' then 'toolbars' & hide all the toolbars...

Also go to COntol Panel... Uninstall Programs... & Uninstall any Toolbars you downloaded but no longet want....

Those programs are most likely scumware or spyware. They are usually placed on your PC without your knowledge or permission.

Use http://www.ada-ware.com/ to get rid of that crap.

This is a much easier program to run then Adaware if you want a more user friendly program
